- Tso Moriri Lake-
The pristine Tso Moriri Lake, the largest alpine lake in India, is located in a
remote area of the broader Himalayan mountains. At a height of more than
15000 feet above sea level in the rough terrain, it appears to be a gift from
nature. Fewer visitors visit there because of its high height and difficult route.
Wetland reserves have been established at Moriri Tso, sometimes referred to as
“Mountain Lake.” The Brahmin duck, bare-headed geese, brown-headed gull,
