Places to visit in Manali during winters that should be in your checklist!

Manali is a well-known town in the Himachal Pradesh State and is located at the northern end
of the Kullu Valley. One of the most well-liked travel spots in India is Manali. People travel to

centre Solang Valley is a fantastic location for thrill seekers. December is the ideal time of

Chandrakhani Pass, which is located near Manali at a height of 3,660 metres above sea
level, is one of the most well-liked winter vacation spots. Starting at Chaklani, you can hike

to the pass. The area experiences snowfall in December, and it appears magical. The
Dhauladhar range’s shimmering white peaks can be seen in the distance while walking,
which is a breathtaking sight. Trekking through the dense fir and oak woodland provides a
distinctive view of the area. Deo Tibba, Parvati, and Pir Panjal peaks are visible from the
Chandrakhani Pass.

  1. Gulaba-

This charming village is a centre for outdoor pursuits and a haven for nature lovers. Due to
the frequent snow showers, Gulaba is one of the most well-liked tourist destinations in
Manali throughout the winter. Here, you can engage in winter sports and have a wonderful
time with your loved ones. Skiing, sledding, and snow fights are a few of the popular
activities in Gulaba. It’s the ideal location for nature enthusiasts thanks to the spectacular
view of the Himalayas, which are completely white. When Rohtang Pass is blocked during
the winter in Manali because of a lot of snow, this is one of the greatest spots to go.

One of the most well-liked trekking locations in Manali is Beas Kund. For visitors seeking
some peace and quiet away from the rush of city life, it is one of the most popular places to
visit in Manali during the winter. The breathtaking views of peaks like Hanuman Tibba,

Ladakh Peak, and Friendship Peak are available to tourists. It is thought to be the location
where Sage Vyas often meditates and bathes in holy water. Beas Kund was tucked away in
the lap of Mount Hanuman Tibba and the Seven Sisters at a height of 3,650 metres above
sea level.

  1. Hampta Pass-

The Hampta pass, a narrow passageway in the Pir Panjal range that connects the Kullu
Valley to Lahaul, is located at a height of 4,270 metres. For tourists looking for the greatest
valley trekking trails and Manali camping spots, it is one of the top places to visit in Kullu
Manali during the winter. This high-altitude mountain pass links Chandra Valley and Kullu
Valley and is also called the Valley of Flower of Himachal Pradesh.

Old Manali, a hippy hotspot bordered by the Manaslu River, is renowned for its energetic
aura. Old Manali is a backpacker’s haven and is only 3 kilometres from the city centre. One
of the best wintertime destinations in Manali is where tourists can see a fusion of

traditional and modern culture, with ancient temples on one side and chic eateries on the
other.

  1. Manikaran-

Plan to visit Manikaran if you’re doing a road trip to Manali in December. The renowned
Manikaran town, which is also known as the Israeli capital of the nation, is only 4 km from
Kasol and is located next to the lovely river of the Parvati valley. You can choose to stroll or
hike along the area’s well-known trails, or you can visit the revered Manikaran Sahib, which
is very important to Sikhs.
